vb: Apple Magic Mouse So I’ve been using it for a few days and overall, I like it.  There are a few things though that could make it better: More buttons. I don’t know if this can be accomplished in software due to the multi-touch nature of the device, but I miss having more than two buttons. Primarily, I’d assign a button to bring up Spaces to switch and drag windows around quickly.  Now I need to use the button on my keyboard or a hot corner. Annoyance factor: large. More multi-touch. I like the swipe ability for going forward and backward pages, but some more touches would be nice.  Specifically, a double tap at the front or rear of the mouse to page up and page down (respectively). Otherwise, I’m fairly happy with it. My hand doesn’t hurt (yet) so that’s nice too. EDIT: One thing I really like is being able to scroll with any part of the mouse. When you’re using a mouse for hours at a time, it make a big difference. Your prayers have been answered, random person on Tumblr talking about the same gripes I had about my Magic Mouse initially…. BetterTouchTool (free): Lets you add all sorts of bells & whistles to your magic mouse. I even added a gesture to trigger a new tweet in Tweetie for Mac. Check it out. It’s well worth the miniscule amount of time it takes to set up and will also let you set up custom gestures for your multitouch trackpad.
